Decameron is an ongoing project of cell-phone videos shot in isolation. Initially conceived for an online festival to create community in isolation, the work inspired me to push the resolution of the images and the boundaries of a readymade technology that will soon be obsolete.

Shot on an iPhone7, this short video is an ode to bicycles, my grandmother's horse "Daisy" and one of the first songs ever recorded and sang by a computer, Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built for Two).

Shot on an iPhone7, in an attempt to cultivate community in alienation, I often resorted to looking at birds through binoculars. Isolated on my grandmother’s farm in rural Kentucky, the details of the everyday life (such as burning trash and the eternal return of sunset) became monumental and totemic sources of mystic revelation.
